Spinosaurus Skull

The Spinosaurus or spine lizard lived in the Cretaceous period around 112 to 93.5 million years ago in what is now North Africa. First discovered in 1912 in the Egyptian desert by Ernst Stromer, these were the most complete collection of Spinosaurus remains which unfortunately were destroyed in a WWII bombing.  Also interestingly the Spinosaurus has been featured on multiple postage stamps from places such as Guyana and Liberia.
